DUNIYA pieces are made to be worn often. A little care keeps them looking the way they did the day you got them.

EVERYDAY WEAR

Take your jewelry off for the gym, the pool, the ocean, cleaning, and anything hard on your hands.

Put it on last, after perfume, lotion, makeup and hairspray.

Chlorine and salt water can dull gold and loosen settings, so leave your pieces off when you swim.

CLEANING

For gold and diamonds, use warm water, a little mild soap and a very soft brush. Rinse and dry well with a soft, lint free cloth.

Polki, emeralds and other colored stones need a lighter touch. Wipe them with a soft dry cloth instead of soaking them, and skip ultrasonic cleaners.

Our oxidized silver is darkened on purpose. Don't use silver polish or dips on it, since they will take the finish off.

Keep cord necklaces dry. Water, perfume and oils can stain the cord over time.

Never use bleach or harsh cleaners.

STORAGE

Keep each piece in its DUNIYA pouch and box, or in its own spot in your jewelry box. Diamonds and stones can scratch gold and each other.

Store chains closed and flat so they don't tangle.

PROFESSIONAL CARE

Settings and clasps wear with time, especially on rings and pieces you wear every day. Have them checked by a jeweler now and then.
